About Angel Special School

The school opened its premises with 12 students and 4 volunteers in 2010 at Chemin Grenier, and today, it enroll a maximum of 55 students and has a pool of 26 teaching and non-teaching staff including the paramedical team.

The school mainly aims to bring together the children with special needs who could not attend school to help them develop their potential by performing various activities, educational and sporting outings. Also, it seeks to aid the students to later have the chance to integrate into the labour market.

Apart from being a school for children and adults with special needs, Angel Special School & Welfare Association’s other activities comprises of:

1. Therapeutic services

2. Swimming and Taekwondo lessons

3. Embroidery workshops, painting sessions

The school widely includes parents and invites them to participate in activities regularly to give them a chance to witness their children potential with time.

Angel Special School opened its Therapy and Training Centre in 2017 at Riviere des Anguilles.
